Good things are about to happen for 12 young entrepreneurs in the Philippines.

This budding group with innovative ideas will not only stay connected to each other but also be able to scale up their businesses, receive support on Intellectual Property (IP) protection, improve investment readiness and internationalize.

Earlier this month, these businesses joined the ARISE Plus YE! Boost Accelerator. This is a 14-week programme that will accelerate and augment the growth of youth entrepreneurs.

The Accelerator Kick Off event presented the young entrepreneurs to key project stakeholders and partners supporting the Accelerator.

The programme will culminate in a demo day with a pitch event to award a financial prize. A follow up post-programme will offer support to the top three start-ups and showcase these companies to investors in the Philippines and Europe.

The young entrepreneurs highlighted the importance of the YE! Boost Accelerator in strengthening their linkages to the global markets and in providing access to international experts, which will help them to scale up.

The selected businesses also participated in a variety of icebreaker activities to develop a deeper understanding of mutual challenges and aspirations.

The young entrepreneurs shared the importance of the sectors they represent to the Philippines economy, with one representative per cluster speaking on behalf of the group. The selected businesses provide products in the following areas:

eCommerce & Logistics

Fintech

Clothing & Design

Education

Health
