Promoting SME Competitiveness in Colombia: Towards an inclusive and sustainable future

Colombia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a central role in building economic resilience, creating jobs and driving inclusive growth. They also face unique challenges, some of which have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It recommends policy reforms that support digitalization, develop workers’ skills, strengthen business support institutions and improve the business environment for small companies, including by enhancing access to finance.
