ITC News

Over the past 20 years, the International Trade Centre (ITC) has supported more than 60 countries in the design and management of their trade development strategies and roadmaps to maximize the development payoffs from trade.

In connection with the upcoming second edition of the Trade Strategy Forum, ITC is launching the Strategy Makers’ Network. This space will connect public and private representatives from ITC’s partner countries so they can share ideas, discuss best practices, and exchange experiences with a community of trade professionals.

What are the objectives of the Strategy Makers' Network?

  • Connect to global experts: Gain access to a vibrant community of trade strategists, policymakers, and industry leaders involved in trade strategy design and management. Forge connections with other professionals, opening doors to collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Exchange best practices: Join meaningful discussions on the latest trends, challenges, and solutions in trade strategy design.
  • Knowledge Hub: Get free access to a repository of technical papers and resources, both from ITC and the network members. The Strategy Makers' Network will serve as a go-to source for the latest research, case studies, and thought leadership.
  • Interactive Q&A Sessions: Ask questions and seek advice on particular trade strategy challenges. The platform will organise interactive Q&A sessions, for direct access to the collective wisdom of practitioners from the public and private sectors.
  • Continuous Learning: The network will be a space for interactive webinars, workshops, and exclusive events designed to keep members at the forefront of trade strategy innovation.
