    This project aims to foster sustainable socio-economic development by creating market-based livelihood opportunities for refugees and host communities. Focused on Kakuma Refugee Camps and Kalobeyei settlement in Turkana County, Kenya, the project’s primary goal is to enhance the employability and competitiveness of MSMEs in these settings. Through targeted activities, including developing technical skills in selected value chains, strengthening social entrepreneurship and business development capacities, and improving institutional capacity for inclusive economic opportunities, the project strives to uplift livelihoods and promote self-resilience in the specified regions. The overarching outcome is the improved employability and competitiveness of social MSMEs in Turkana County.
