Nigeria: Sustainable economic reintegration of returnees

This project supports Nigerian migrants returning from Germany through creating a stronger and more supportive business ecosystem in Nigeria that offers specific support to the returning migrants. The project is implemented with partners who are responsible for preparing returnees for their return in Germany. ITC focuses on two areas of intervention:

• Enhancing the capacity of institutional support to better provide customized support to returnee-led MSMEs, through the design and supervision of entrepreneurship coaching activities implemented through partner BSOs.
• Enhancing the knowledge on the needs of returnees and recommendations for economic support activities by providing structured learnings to project partners who provide related reintegration support in Nigeria and Germany.
