<p>The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority and the International Trade Centre (ITC) are pleased to welcome you to a special event presenting the 4th edition of The Coffee Guide, launching for the first time in Amharic.</p><p>A panel discussion will highlight the pivotal role of knowledge products and education in improving the Ethiopian coffee sector’s competitiveness on the global market. Participants will also get to taste winning coffees of the recent Fairtrade Golden Cup Ethiopia competition, from the Netherlands Trust Fund V programme for the sustainable development of Ethiopia’s coffee sector.</p>

Sustainable Development Goals

This project contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals, as defined by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

<p>Africa Fashion and Textile Network (Africa FAN) Phase 2 forms a part of the Special Initiative Training and Job Creation by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to contribute to the implementation of the Marshall Plan with Africa and the investment partnership G20 Compact with Africa.</p><p>The project aims to increase volume of sourcing by international buyers from African T&amp;A producers leading to job creation in local T&amp;A industries under the lead of the Special Initiative&rsquo;s global and country programmes in SI partner countries. Expected outcome of the project is increased participation of African textile and apparel suppliers in trade and investment.</p><p>The project will be implemented between August 2022 and July 2023 with a total budget of 243.012 EUR.</p>
