This project contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals, as defined by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

<p>ITC is taking part in the project &apos;Building socio-economic resilience for survivors of Conflict related Sexual Violence in South Sudan&apos; to support survivors and at-risk groups of Conflict-related Sexual Violence (CRSV). This includes men, women, and the youth population who are victims or are at risk of CRSV, including those who are internally displaced. ITC will be implementing the project alongside the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).&nbsp;</p><p>The project consists of three key areas of intervention: (1) to improve multi-sectoral services and referral mechanisms (2) to support economic empowerment, increase income and employment opportunities (3) to raise awareness and tertiary support to the issues of sexual violence in conflict. The project&rsquo;s targeted impact is for CRSV survivors and at-risk group to have greater support and resources for mitigation, prevention and sustainable recovery to assert their agency.</p><p>ITC will be leading intervention (2) on supporting income and employment opportunities. The intervention will consist of the following outputs:</p><p>Output 1: Conflict-sensitive and market-based economic empowerment opportunities for survivors of CRSV identified</p><p>Output 2: Business and market-based skills trainings and advisory services provided</p><p>Output 3: Information session for market entry and employment opportunities organized</p><p>Output 4: Contractual relationship between participants and employers, businesses and sector actors connected</p><p>Output 5: Linkage between participants and micro-financing institutions created</p>
