Body

The TIS Revolving Fund was created to support the former Trade Information Services section on-going development as the provider of trade information management advisory and training services for trade support institutions and the business sector in ITC's partner countries.

Building from its original objective, in the past few years the fund has been essentially dedicated to support the operations of the ITC SME Trade Academy, as most of the fund's revenue came from e-learning related activities.

Now the SME Trade Academy revolving fund, this "project" is dedicated to collect revenues from small SME Trade Academy services to external partners and beneficiaries. It's purpose includes collecting resources which come from the few online courses which the ITC charges for. Collected resources are used to pay the corresponding costs, such as IT equipment, course production consultants, hosting, etc.
