Trade promotion awards coverage goes digital
What makes a winner? is now fully digital with new content from our 2020 finalists of national trade promotion awards
For the first time, ITC celebrates the World Trade Promotion Award winners, runners up and shortlisted finalists in an e-publication format. Their stories showcase inspiring initiatives for economic recovery.
Readers can access interview clips with winners, the judges’ views and measures of success from the top programmes. They can also browse submission videos from all finalists, view the awards ceremony and bonus images from shortlisted finalists. Content is available in English, French and Spanish, and is optimized for both mobile and desktop.
The awards commend programmes that support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to become more competitive and sustainable in international markets. Sweden, Georgia and Costa Rica were the top winners in the 2020 competition. The three award categories are: Best use of partnerships, Best use of information technology, and Best initiative to ensure trade is inclusive and sustainable.
The awards shortlist for 2022 will be announced in early May. The winners will be announced on 17 May in Accra at the World Trade Promotion Organizations Conference and Awards. The stories of 2022 shortlisted finalists and winners will also be captured in an e-publication format.
